Please also pick up your auction winnings during these timesI will email you your jpegs this weekend (May 20-21).

Story of the project: A group of six CMI parents set out to celebrate our students and our new, beautiful play space by photographing every CMI student exploring our outdoor sanctuary in the middle of DC. Our parent photographers—Darren Cambridge, Julie Kubal, Kari Beard, Kate Demong, Kimyia Varzi & Norm Greene—worked over many days to realize this ambitious project. Our goal was to capture every student, and we succeeded: only a handful of students are not included (due to absences or because they or their parents chose not to be involved).

Project sponsors: Thanks to IKEA for donating frames and White House Custom Colour for donating prints, all proceeds from photo sales will benefit our school and the final phase of playground construction this summer! The final phase will include many elements that celebrate and reinforce the school’s inclusive, arts-integrated, and inquiry-inspiring mission: a sensory garden, meditation circle, insect hotel, art studio, performance stage & music stations.
